Honorbuddy v2.5.14717.808

[SIZE=+1]Changelog[/SIZE]
Code:
Bug fixes:
--------------
  * Core
    - Mount distance setting has been removed. The distance to use mounts is now calculated automatically taking distance, mounting speed and running speed in to account. Running is favored over mounting with a set threshold for short distances. (HB-2730)

  * FishingBuddy
    - Fixed an issue that caused FishingBuddy to ignore fishing pools (HB-2715)

[SIZE=+1]FAQs[/SIZE]
Is it safe to bot?

Will you be supporting a 64-bit version of Honorbuddy in this release?
No. The game developer continues to ship a 32-bit WoWclient. We've had this discussion many times in the past, and the answer is "no, not until its absolutely needed". Here are two posts to get you started:

was about to ask whats wrong with mount distance in 807 build, but here we go
so now there is no way to set the distance at all? i mean how to avoid casting mount if i dont want it to be cast :confused:
Hi, Kodind,

Forum search is very helpful in these matters.

With this change to MountDistance will there be a change added in MoveTo to use AllowedVariance like in the FlyTo? I like the non stacking part of the AllowedVariance and to get it to work previously I had to use a larger MountDistance. Even with Mount="False" druids still went into FlightForm. Looking at the plugin you linked Nooblet stated today it still wants to fly. So I'm asking if AllowedVariance can be implemented into MoveTo as well?
Hi, Raaz,

AllowedVariance was a concept introduced by Quest Behaviors, and the concept was not back-ported to the HBcore. Will be glad to write up a feature request for it. But you'll need to answer a question, before I can do that (because its exactly a question I will be asked :D )...

"Why can you not just use FlyTo for your movement needs?"

When the toon is on the ground I use FlyTo with AllowedVariance in my profile. The toon wants to go into flight form instead of using catform and running to the destination point. A portion of the time it would not go to the destination point for the vendor and would blacklist the vendor and look for another one far away. When I had MountDistance set at a further distance it would stay in cat form and I never had an issue with the flying after that. Plus with multiple toons running I really appreciate the randomness with the AllowedVariance.
Hi, Raaz, and thanks for the follow-up.

We've opened feature request HB-2733("Allow <MoveTo> to take an optional AllowedVariance attribute?") against the issue.

It sounds like there is another bug with respect to the vendor being wrongly blacklisted. If you are able to reproduce this with a log, please report it.

cheers,
chinajade

Hi,

I realize that "internal" issues that cause tripwire events contain sensitive information, however it would be useful to at least list in the release notes that the issue that caused the tripwire is resolved with a given release without any further details.
Hi, Bp423a,

How is that useful? Bossland GmbH does not allow a Buddy bot to run without what is believed to be a functional and comprehensive Tripwire. A mistake was made this time, indeed. But, that doesn't change the process at all.

As always, if you can run a Buddy bot, then the Tripwire is engaged, and fully functional. More info here:

cheers,
chinajade
