Honorbuddy Usage

Hey, My friend happened to have an extra key he was willing to give me. I downloaded Honorbuddy and when I get to the little log-in screen, i type in my forums log-in information. It than brings me to another window a bit bigger than the log-in one and says authentication failed... I also see that when i drag my cursor over the password icon, it says leave empty if you are using key or something like that, I try it and it doesn't allow me... Basically I have a key i can use, but how do i use it, i didn't purchase it with my original forums account, my friend gave it to me...help?

put the key as username and leave the password field empty.

dont copy paste the key and make sure no backspaces are present.

I tried putting the key in the username section, then when I clicked OK, it gave me a message saying "Please enter shop password before continuing".....

This is what happens when I leave the password field empty....
