Guys, chill out! I know it really sucks not being able to use HB, but they are busy working on it, and ensuring it's as safe as it can possibly be. This requires countless amounts of trial and error, as they must test any possible public releases to ensure that there are no problems with the bot. As a programmer myself, I can tell you that they have a lot of things to check up on before they ship anything out, and here's just some examples of what they'll need to do:
-Security Measures (Account safety)
-New [and/or changed] Offsets, as well as Tiles, Models, Meshes, actor & item IDs (These all constantly change, and can be a major hassle to have to change up to THOUSANDS of lines of code!)
-Hand-testing every single variation of coding while running debugging and/or diagnostics.
*This is one reason why the releases have long strings of numbers with their version (Such as HB 3.0.1137 Beta for the previous patch, instead of "HB 3.0.1", etc).
-Much, much more. You should get the gist of it.
Also, let's keep in mind that they decided to implement a new anti-cheat system, possibly including, but certainly not limited to things such as "in-game spyware", where they can watch you playing the game at any time. There was also a full server reset on Thursday, and they added something else after "maintenance" in an update. It was a small file, but, it would not allow you to play the game until it was 100% downloaded. No background download option, either. All I'm saying is, they have their hands full, and tied, as even if they did the content/patch update, no one knows how this new anti-cheat system is going to work, or how long it may "wait" to ban anyone who is cheating or botting.
Let's not forget as well that Blizz has ALWAYS been FAMOUS for not immediately banning cheaters, as then we would all immediately know it wasn't safe yet. They literally just LOVE waiting until mass accounts & IPs are already "Flagged" to be banned, and when they feel like they caught enough fish in their net, they will start with banning accounts in HUGE waves, that were already previously marked, and the people currently using them.
That's the scariest part, and why it's going to take a while. Would you rather lose everything to get the bot released possibly a day or two earlier? You may be thinking it's worth it; but you know that it is not (at least typically).
Hope you guys enjoyed the educational and overly opinionated book I just wrote. Hey, at least by the time you're done reading this, 10-20 minutes will have probably passed! If we're patient and don't worry about it too much, the time will just fly by. =)
P.S. - Now is a great time to get on your characters, and just participate in-game as anyone would normally do. Even if you just get on and have fun chatting, or trolling, it will lower suspicion of you being a botter! Do some quests, anything will do! Trust me on this, even if worst comes to worst and you get banned, you can have it reviewed (Appealed), and if they see YOU playing more, there is a MUCH better chance that you will become "un-banned". Stay safe out there, and always play it smart. ^_^
