Patch 7.2.0 Build #23877 has dropped.
Honorbuddy v3.0.16981.878 will not work with this new version of the WoWclient.
If this is your first experience with Honorbuddy after a WoWclient patch, you can find more information about the situation here:

A WoWclient patch may, or may not, require a corresponding Honorbuddy release. Additionally, there may be the typical hotfixes that can cause downtime when Blizzard discovers "uh oh"s when placed under load, or the exploitative prowess of the gaming community. :D

When will a new Honorbuddy be ready?
The Bossland GmbH development staff are working to accommodate all the needed changes. The Bossland GmbH development staff will keep you informed of progress updates in this thread. But, the thread will only be updated when appropriate (i.e., an internal milestone has been met).

About the forums...
All threads pertaining to "cannot attach" issues, the accelerated release of an update, "Honorbuddy lite", complaints about the bot being down, and general trolling will be closed or deleted.

Receive update notifications automatically...
You can arrange to be notified any time this thread is updated by using the forum-provided facility to 'watch' to this thread which is located at the top right of this thread:

In Summary...
The process is going to take as long as it takes.
Please be patient while we get everything working again.
Thank you for your understanding.

As you may or may not have noticed, there has been 8-hotfix patches since the original 7.2 patch.

For each hotfix patch, the development time on Honorbuddy gets set back a little bit.
We're still working hard to make sure Honorbuddy is good to go and progress is being made, so don't worry. ;)

There are currently no ETAs or 'general ideas' of when the Honorbuddy will be ready as it is too early in the development stage at this time.

There won't be many updates here as the current progress that is being made is nothing too special to announce about.
If something special does come up, then we'll tell you!

Or, once we do have a general idea for an ETA, we'll be sure to announce here once there is, so stay tuned!

Another update!

We're getting closer, but there's still some work that needs to be done before we can give a proper ETA.

So far we've found several bugs in the bot and we've fixed them. These bugs are very minor things such as issues in the API and whatnot, nothing too crazy.
However, the main thing that pretty much all of our time has been put into is making sure the bot is as safe as possible.

A LOT has changed, which also means there's a lot for us to look into. Literately tens of thousands of lines of code!
Our team has been working day and night on the bot looking for any potential 'issues' that could cause safety concerns.
It has been a very tedious and loooong process, but the last thing we want is for your accounts to be at risk.

Once we are completely sure that the bot is as safe as possible, we'll start giving an ETA.
But for now, safety is our only concern.

Your keys will have extra days added to the lifespan as compensation to make up for this downtime.
So no worries there!

Thanks so much for your patience so far and we're sorry for the inconvenience!

We have not managed to check everything we want to yet in regards of overall safety of the bot. However, we have just pushed a build for developers to start testing.

We are planning to do a public release today or tomorrow at worst (depending on feedback from the developers).

Due to security concerns, tripwire will remain enabled. If you are willing to bot regardless, you will be able to disable tripwire for your account from the buddy portal.

We are planning to do a public release today or tomorrow at worst (depending on feedback from the developers).
Shortly after this announcement there was yet another update.
So unfortunately we cannot expect a release today (as promised yesterday.)

As it stands now, a public release should be up by tomorrow assuming there are no more delays to the process.
If there are delays, I will try to keep you guys informed.

The build that Raphus mentioned yesterday was recently re-released to our community developers and they are currently weeding out the bugs for us.

Sorry again for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience!
