So I have had honorbuddy for some time now and I've never taken the time to post any pertinent questions to the file/directory setup. I'm not looking for has to be done this way answers, just some personal preferences I suppose! Please give me your feedback on what works best for you!
1) Does having honorbuddy on a different disk or partition affect its performance at all? (I use a partitioned space to house pretty much all of my stuff aside from the OS and Program Files, including Honorbuddy. Always been curious if this matters.)
2) Any advice on plugins that aren't needed being deleted at time of botting rather than not-enabled?
(I've noticed that my clean installs of Honorbuddy always have the best performance, but as I begin to add custom cc's and plugins, it tends to either bog down, randomly crash, hang, etc. The path directories are always correct and the bot does work as intended, but it's just not as snappy as it is when I have just the clean install and profiles going. I guess I've wondered if since the additional plugins are loaded, but not enabled, if it has an effect on performance with the bot.)
3) How would one go about saving the settings for their plugins and then doing a clean install? It seems whenever I do a 'clean install', I delete everything but the plugins folder and then extract the new honorbuddy to the designated folder. My settings are sometimes lost. Intended? Do I need to redownload or SVN each plugin? I like to use MIR, ProfileHelper (for Kick's) Lazyboxer (Botbase), Zaprecorder and Fighthere for profile editing/recording, and Logmeout.
4) What is ItemForAuraQuestHelper, and do I need to have it enabled?
5) In a few combat cc's i.e Portal (mage), I've noticed that it doesn't work well at low levels. Is this because I did not configure it to not use talents that it doesn't have? I assumed that the routine would figure out that I didn't have said spell or talent and just not use it without me needing to check because the bot would potentially have the spell/talent at a later point in levelling.
6) Is it just me, or is there a benefit to actually clicking Load Profile with the exact profile you were using than just clicking Stop/Start when it hangs? I swear it seems like 50% of the time if I reload the entire profile, it works better than if I just click start again. (Kick's Profiles)
Thanks in advance. Feel free to post your setups/thoughts/ideas!
