my honor buddy just gets stuck at logging in, ive done everything EVERYONE says to do online but nothing works.

Any other ideas, i dont want to have wasted my money and other people seem to have it working fine. there must be something i can do. Anyone?

then upload a new log, so we can continue giving you support. instead of this whole "i wasted my money" the reason you paid money IS for support so use it.

i will post ALL my logs if need be. but its never got past what that log says
they are all the same.

no support? what do you call me responding? and tony told you to check your firewall, BOTH are us trying to help you. so please cut it out.


are you sure the key your trying to use is the same one listed on the buddyauth website? are you sure theres no spaces before or after your key?




if your sure, try flushing your dns

reset your host file back to default.

and try power cycling your home router.

Apologies if im coming off as rude but up until now i hadn't been getting much help. but thank you for giving me stuff to try. i will get to it and let you know. once again sorry.

im in windowed mode, firewall and antivirus is completely off, 32 bit, direct 9x, reset all the stuff you mentioned above. ive run the launcher and jsut honorbuddy.exe as admin, clean reinstalled several times. it just seems like it isnt doing much. =/

when i told you to, did you follow the instructions on checking and resetting your host file, and flushing your DNS? did you restart after?

just re did all the flushing and reset my computer. still nothing.

make sure you have port 5031 open on your home router and firewall application if you have one.

not being able to access Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal is a major issue, you should be able to get to that site.

if you can try another pc to try and narrow it down to your network, or your pc.

i googled how to go about getting my port open and followed the steps, however i dont know my router username and pw so i cant get acces to my router configurations. any idea how i go about getting that username?
