Hey Honorbuddy Team,

I'm having an interesting issue that did not start until about a two days ago. When I launch Honorbuddy, the launcher comes up, right install path for both WoW and Honorbuddy, I hit Launch, and nothing. Honorbuddy Launcher freezes, and then I get the "Honorbuddy has stopped working..." window. WoW does not load, and Honorbuddy does not launch.

Uninstalled C++, Framework, and Honorbuddy, restart, turn off antivirus, reinstall Framework, C++, and honorbuddy, launch as administrator, still crashed.

Suggestions?

dont use the launcher.

wow needs to be running in 32bit mode.
to do this watch this video. it covers every possible way to get wow to start in 32 bit mode.

after wow is started in 32bit mode, get fully logged in and in game, then start honorbuddy by right clicking "honorbuddy.exe" and clicking "Run as Administrator"

So for a good day or two the bot was working fine. Now after today, here is the issues I'm having.

Long load times on profiles.
After pressing start, it takes a good 2-3 minutes for Honorbuddy to start going, same with pressing stop.
Bot gets to first waypoint toward current quest, completely freezes.
Error trying to save the settings file: The file exists.

I've tried doing a brand new registration, after clearing out all the cache. I've uninstalled all Microsoft C++ and framework installations, rebooted, used BuddyWizard to install them, restarted, used windows update to update them, restarted, used the ZIP version of honorbuddy, didn't use the launcher. I've only had a key for 12 days, and I'm starting to get irritated. I've also deleted the settings folder, no anti-virus, and already gone through the list of programs that could cause issues with Honorbuddy, and have disabled all addons.

Edit: WoW in 32 bit DX9 mode. Currently trying a different profile to see if I receive the same issue

delete your %USERPROFILE%/AppData/Local/Bossland/ folder.

also COMPLETELY restart your pc.

I did, and did. Does not fix it. When I said I cleared the cache that's what I cleared, and my post does state I did restart.

well unless you want to reinstall windows theres nothing else i can recommend doing. something on your machine is blocking write access to files.

So what about the slowness as well? As well as the profiles, no matter which I use, getting to a waypoint and pretty much spazzing up? I know I'm not the only one having issues, especially with the slowness.

when people say "slowness" the way they describe it and what your experiencing are 2 different things. IF honorbuddy could write the files it needed correctly, then it should stop wasting cpu cycles on trying to write the stupid settings file and it should then act normally. its trying to write to that file every pulse and it takes time that could be used to actually running the bot.
