honorbuddy logging in stuck

having a problem with my honorbuddy when i can't get it to start, i can write my code and get into the program but after that it just frezzes and stays like that forever.
So when i come in it just states:

"Honorbuddy v2.5.14151.793 started.
Honorbuddy was unable to check for an update.
Honorbuddy will not be able to update automatically.
Logging in..."



I have tried to read other posts similar to mine but the fixes that were recommended dosn't work for me,
i have for example tried to flush my dns, reinstalled honorbuddy many times both zip and installer, uninstalled my anti virus (avast), inactivate my firewall and so on.
Worth mentioning is that I'am sure that the key is right and is working when my friend has the same code and it's working for him.
Any ideas what might help?

are you sure the key your trying to use is the same one listed on the buddyauth website? are you sure theres no spaces before or after your key?


if your sure, try flushing your dns

reset your host file back to default.

and try power cycling your home router.
