OK HI.

I've ran the beta and I've ran the newest version of Honorbuddy but it fails to initialize.

So far, I have

1. Cleared the caches (WoW, HB itself, deleted the folder in appdata)

2. Uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times

3, Disabled the Buddystore plugins

4. Disabled all antiviruses/firewalls

I'll pop the hood, take a look... If you think you can help me.

just curious, did you install using the installer or the zip. have you tried both? have you tried using the buddywizard to prep your system? just two things that come to mind. im sure others can help more.

have you installed and restarted your computer. a simple 'turn it off and turn it back on' does wonders for mystery errors.

Hi so I downloaded the Buddyhelper thing that preps your system and no luck.

My log says weird shit like

01:16:28.806 D] System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'file:///C:\Users\Michael\Desktop\New folder (2)\CompiledAssemblies\Combat_1501577124.dll' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.
File name: 'file:///C:\Users\Michael\Desktop\New folder (2)\CompiledAssemblies\Combat_1501577124.dll'

Well i thought it's weird...

Log into the bstore and disable everything then try logging in to HB.

Do you guys read what I type?

" 3, Disabled the Buddystore plugins "

I posted this awhile ago and nobody has any ideas for a solution to this problem?
Guess I can never use honorbuddy again. Sucks ;_;.

Thanks for the suggestions, I guess.

Having the same problem here, and have gone through the same diagnostics as you itspartytime.

Log File:
View attachment 5664 2016-12-16 17.04.txt

Image of what HB shows me:

It just gets stuck like this - and does nothing on 2 of my HB's. I have a 3rd that seems to be working okay, oddly enough.

EDIT: Just fyi, yes this IS the full log - that's as far as it gets.

You said you disabled your buddystore plugins I take that as seperate from CRs. By your log, it looks like a combat routine that you have enabled is causing HB to crash at the point where it checks.

Sorry, what do you mean by CRs? And yes, its the combat routine that's fu#$%^ everything up...

EDIT

Heres a SS of my buddy store. It''s barren, empty.

SO.

Anyone who has this problem I hope reads my post.

If you're still having this error, and have cleared your cache 100x that's not the problem.
IF you're having the error my logs are giving it's due to the fact that you have the wrong Microsoft redistributables and frameworks.
Delete every single one, restart your pc, and use just the installer as admin to reinstall correct frameworks + NETs

Once you're done with that HB will run clean.

In my case, I had x64 and x86 versions of all frameworks and HB in lame man's terms had a problem choosing the right one
to run on my x64 PC. I hope this helps others that suffered through this!
