Honorbuddy keeps closing after a few mins

try changing wow to dx9 mode, you can do this via your wow graphic options.

Switched to dx9 to test and still got the same result. The above log is after a fresh install.

I do not have shadowplay active, and the only antivirus is BitDefender but it is not active while running HB.

any wow addons/3rd party wow programs enabled?

Hi, Hibachi3490,

Are you using a relogger of any kind—such as ARelog or HBRelog?

No nothing like that. As I mentioned, I am running a bare minimum of programs so that nothing will interfere with HB. So far nothing seems to be working as a fix.

No WoW is perfectly fine. Aside from being kicked from the BG because I am afk lol.

Hi again, Hibachi3490,

Sorry this one's so tough. This is not a failure mode we usually see. Honorbuddy doesn't just truncate logs like you show us. It captures any problems as an exception and records them before dying. This always happens—always.

Our guess is your anti-virus, or another program, is interfering with Honorbuddy and preventing it from operating correctly. Please see if these articles can be used to help you isolate and repair the problem:

It seems like the most recent HB update was causing a problem with my antivirus program. Even after exiting the program HB would not work. So since I have uninstalled the program everything is working perfectly. Before the most recent update I never had a problem with it running in the background. Can you suggest an antivirus that cooperates with HB?

Hi again, Hibachi3490,

Although there is strong evidence that Antivirus programs aren't very useful, most people are uncomfortable running without them.

Before you look at another one, there was no way with your current one to make Honorbuddy an exception? We know some are exceptionally aggressive, which generally is a good thing, but they outright interfere with the techniques used by Honorbuddy.

Here are two resources to reach your own conclusion:
