Honorbuddy is not saving my settings

Hello peeps!

My HB is not saving my settings. I can uncheck "Kill between hotspots" and then press save and close, only to find it minutes later being back on. This applies to all the checkmarks in the settings box.

How to proceed?

Using Windows 7, running as admin.

Well, it's "bad" now, it will turn off using flightpaths and I can't save the settings.

I tried locating the settings file manually and editing the numbers, with HB closed etc.

It doesn't work, but sometimes it will save some settings, for some time.

It is really getting on my nerves.

I am, and so is my mate, he has no problems.

I don't reckon the bot should choose not to use flightpaths, set pull distance to 1 sometimes etc.?

Tried manually editing the profile, which also didn't help.

Arh, some custom behaviour it seems. So thats why.

I'd just like to have the bot pull at 40, use FPs and not kill between hotspots.

Its all I want.

open the profile with a text editor
press ctrl+f and search for "user"

There is an insane amounts of hits on that, "File="UserSettings" etc.

Yeaaaah, not editing that. Just seems like I'm the only one complaining :/ Gotta live with it I guess.

Hi, all,

Profile writers do not change settings lightly. They are done on purpose, and with strong reason.

You can find a few examples why profiles change settings, here.
