Honorbuddy, How to turn off Auto fail /fake update.

I just went and Edited all of my dungeon scripts.
so that they have correct information, and have the right entrance and exit points.

my dungeons would have been 100% afkable.

I wasted 3 hours of my time today.


Edited my scripts, started bot to go and test them out..

guess what happened...????

Honorbuddy downloaded fresh copy's of the dungeon scripts, AND REPLACED MINE !!! WHATS WHAT HAPPENED!

dirty workaround here.

create your scripts. Copy them to c:\methebest\script.whateverfile
start hb, hb updates scripts i guess.
create a batch file you execute everytime HB has started, which copies all the files in c:\methebest\*.* to the correct script location within HB

or, you could check the dungeonbuddy config if there is a switch for "always autoupdate sandwiches"

I didn't know that auto-update scripts is the cause for the bot downloading /replaceing via fresh copys.

i thought that was just to auto update the script when you change the settings just on that window...
ill have to check that out

I assume it's not.

The update TS is talking about was an HB core update. That will download and install the full new version of HB, including scripts.
The setting you're referring to is whether DungeonBuddy should check for new versions of the scripts when ran.

I don't think that's gonna solve TS' issue.
