Redownload HB.
Unzip into a whole new folder.

Make sure to Add Honorbuddy.exe to you antivirus exceptions list.

i extracted it to a diferent folder like always but i still get the same error. i turned my antivirus off when i try to open it and i still get the error

are all Hb files under the same folder?
are you running Hb from a shortcut or something?

when i download it in downloads into a winrar file than i extract that to a folder.

make a new Hb installation from scratch and make sure that all Hb files are under the same folder
dont run Hb from a shortcut or something

Im running windows 7. I did what you said and ran it directly from the file and everything is working perfect now. Thanks for all the help. Also awesome job on this program really cant believe how well it works.
