Honorbuddy Downtime = GB special limited auth

Hey,

since HB is still down why cant u guys give us a special limited auth to GB till HB is up and working?

It would be really nice!
 
I belive that it would give a bit of work but they could create a special "usergroup" with limited acess to GB and add HB users to it... Anyway it was just an idea...

Well for 1, Bossland would have to setup a user + pw
then this would have to have profiles uploaded onto it
everyones would get mixed up

or (which is what everyone probably meant)

is to add # of logins to GB to your account

both are a huge PITA and time sink. boss and devs have better things to be doing!

While a temporary unlimited account would be nice the point is to make the Honorbuddy bot come out faster not to say "its not working have some free Gatherbuddy time". If bossland was to add a very complicated account to handle everyone then he would be using time that could be spent on getting Honorbuddy back online.

Can you even say anything to this? I found it pretty funny :). Wish someone would atleast see this real, mass ftw. Anyhow, I speculate. If it was able to make 1 GB account which would be up during HB downtimes. With somewhat 2k Sessions and the Acc+PW would be sent to everyone with HB Only. And 1 IP would have only one log in access in to it. Or Mac, who cares. If it prevents the same person from logging in 2 times. I dont think it's a bad idea. After all, this is another week from my 1 year. ( or more )

So, your saying that us, HB users should pay more money just to solve "our problem" ?. /facepalm. I assume 90% of the botting community only sees a very thin tunnel ahead.

I for one like the idea of some kind of special. I am not saying they should but im also not saying that it wouldnt be a nice thing to do.

I don't see how it's a problem. You bought one year of HB, should expect to have down time for your accounts safety and other needs. You didn't buy gatherbuddy and you don't need to be compensated for downtime that wasn't unexpected and clearly known for months now.

Of course, all just my view on the subject.
 
I think it is about time that a disclaimer be put on the main website so that people can't continue to bring up the topic.
 
Everyone just wants a bigger piece of the pie. I bought GB lifetime and thats what I got.

If I bought HB, then I would not expect to get GB at all. Stop being greedy, and let the devs be busy dev'ing and not losing brain cells on some of the stupider (yes, stupider is a word in Texas so is GITERDUN) topics at hand.

Tony why are you sleeping? You need to make a bot that sleeps for you so you can sit up and mod the boards all day and night.
