6 month bans going out. People who only use CRs getting banned.

Any word from the devs on this?
 
People who only use combat routine bots like enyo getting banned is unlucky?

Honorbuddy obviouslyn isnt deteced, otherwise everyone would be getting banned and not only people using specific stuff.
none of my 15 bots got banned
 
I'm pretty sure those people getting banned aren't using a legitimate copy of HB and got caught by Blizz when the tripwire went off.
 
Not detected. I think people are just getting better at noticing when someone in their raid/group is using HB and reporting.

Just because you only use combat routine does not mean you are safe, especially if it handles certain things in a way a normal player wouldn't. (ie dots)

Somehow, the thought of Blizzard autobanning half their player base is easier for most people in this forum.

Blizzard flagging all using accounts and banning them in waves? Nah, why would they do that?

We still wonder why people here seems stupid. In the past, botting required a minimal IT knowledge to setup and properly modify things and profiles. Now, even a retard kid can use Honorbuddy, and that entitles him to strut around.

We had it coming.
 
I created simple and always working diagram to solve "is detected?" and "is safe?" problem in second.

@Trixiap as Pimp said would blizz instantly ban every single person using honorbuddy if it was detectable?
 
I pretty much only use CR as well, but only when I feel like raiding on my alts since I cant execute their rotations perfectly. I have a main char, a healer which I am good enough with that I dont need a CR.

Kinda scared to use Honorbuddy now though after seeing all these threads popping up xP
 
When Blizz is able to detect bot, they are detecting ppl who use it and after let say 2-3 weeks they ban every single account that was detected. These 5-10ppl/day are just ordinary report/other forms of detection (based on player activity) bans.

Also being online during Tripwire event isn´t reason why to be banned. New warden update is executed right after login and not during playing, and because HB was shutdown right after update was detected, you couldn't´t be detected that way

To me it looks like the connection is the CRs, perhaps something to do with how many commands they send to the game per second?

A lot more than that and people are getting banned just for running enyo, how can that every be reportable.
 
half the reports about being banned are copy/paste threads even with the same line at the bottom, it sure looks like the same people making posts, to cause issues. its dumb,
 
1) Banwave is 1000+ reports in hour (only ppl that will report it, because banwave is ofc "all detected accounts banned")
2) I can say who is CR botting just by looking on him and my accuracy would be pretty high imho
3) There are ppl that literally hate botters and witch-hunt them
