Honorbuddy changes addon config?

Hello there,

Before I start I want to say I searched forums for this issue and found nothing so far.

my problem is this;
with the yesterdays patch when i logged into game with Honorbuddy, I saw all of my addon settings were gone. (like sexymap being blue circle shit and all my bartender bars is gone)

Anyone knows what exactly causing this?
When i try to log onto game via normal bnet app all my addons appear normal.

Its not related to HB.

But to logging via launcher or not.

I experience the same on my main account, which I do not attach HB to, but nothing different.

Well the thing is as i said before,

when i use bnet launcher everything is normal,
but if i use the hb launcher every addon is going crazy.

my understanding might be wrong about these things but for me, it seems buddy related.
there is nothing to do i suppose

I was referring to the WoW launcher.

Try start WoW via wow.exe without any 3rd party interaction - would get the same result - UI reset.

I understand now,

but still why now? i'm using honorbuddy like 4 or 5 years now. it never happened before.

Its not related to HB.

It is related to how you launch WoW - not HB.

edit:

To clarify - I think HB launches WoW via the executable, whereas the bnet launcher (that does not break your UI) launches it differently. I think I was able to fix mine by renaming the WTF folder.

Out of the WoW support forums, Blizzard posters do recommend for all wow customers, experience similar issues to reset their UI, including WTF folder, Cache and Addons too.

Which would basically ruin all the years of interface changes on my mains .....

This is simple example how Blizzard ruin the customers gameplay without much efforts!

All what has happened in your WTF folder with the patch a new account has been created just locate your old account setting an copy an paste them into the new account settings, and all shall be back to normal
