HonorBuddy BUGGY and NOT WORKING ACCURATELY * READ PLS *

So I've been using Honorbuddy for about a month now and have 3 computers running it regularly. It's working perfectly on all 3 who are doing questing to level up.

Problem is, randomly through-out the night of questing, I'll wake up any one of the computers, and in some cases all 3 computers, randomly sitting somewhere not doing anything, and all I have to do to get the bot working again is stop and start it again.

This is really weird, it seems that it works perfectly and after question for a while it will bug out and stop working, but a simple stopping and restarting of the bot resolves the issue. Since restarting the bot seems to fix it (until it bugs out again) it seems that it's more of an honorbuddy bug, or maybe Azanius 1-85 quests are bugged (unlikely since it's got 80,000 posts and downloads)

I strongly think Honorbuddy has some kind of issue and has some type of bug in it, there should be a plugin that restarts the bot randomly every two hours, to ensure that you're not standing around somewhere doing nothing (This helps you get cought to)

Anyone experience such issues? or have any ideas, comments, or work-arounds to repair this?

I get this problem as well. It's not a profile problem as I get it using 4 different profiles. I won't be posting a log, I've done that plenty of times and it always gets ignored. I'm tired of this shit.

A change I would make, if the bot is stuck on the same objective for so long the bot should reset it's self.

A: Use a relogger.
B: Post your logs, in your own thread, in the support section.

Sometimes it's takes a while for the staff to help you, but they do their best.

how can a relogger help, we aren't getting booted. The bot is just getting lost in the profile. Generally either thinking something is complete when it is not, or thinking something is not complete when it is completed.

I'll also need to know what profile, class, race, level, etc so I can reproduce it (or at least attempt to)


Keep in mind that some bugs are very "out of the ordinary" and difficult do debug/find. Especially ones that happen after many hours of the bot running (especially those you don't find till you come back hours after the bug occurred!)

GUYS, the log is usually completely normal, I have leveled up four characters, a druid from 60-85, a mage from 1-85, and a hunter from 1-85, and every single day every single time every single computer using different questing profiles are eventually inevitably getting stuck somewhere along the quest.

EXAMPLE: My char is standing infront of an NPC trying to "complete" a quest that is incomplete, the NPC has a SILVER question mark on the top of his, confirming its not complete...... I have a million messages saying "You don't meet the requirements for that quest" but it's really just telling me that I havent completed it so I can't finish the quest, which is what the bot is trying to do...

NOW, THE IMPORTANT PART: If I stop the bot, and start it again, the bot will wake up, realize where it's at, and start working again... I'll go to work, come back only to see that after a couple hours of questiing/exping, he's stuck at another NPC once again.

This is happening to EVERY single profile that involves questing, it is therefore NOT something that is related or resolvable by looking into a log (although I'm not saying im opposed to providing one) but I'll confirm everyone who's experiencing this is stating that its a problem with HONORBUDDY itself, and not an actual issue with a profile or anything like that - The log ALWAYS seems totally normal, you won't catch anything weird on the logs whatsoever, the bot is just simple stuck, and in THIS certain situation, the bot is trying to turn in a quest (asusming its done) when it isn't, so it's stuck in a NEVERENDING LOOP trying to turn in a quest thats not complete.

For this reason, I just assumed its a bug everyone is experiencing, and if it's as simple as restarting a bot, why isnt there a plugin that'll automatically restart the bot every hour to ensure it's working properly?

Help guys, this is a serious problem that a lot of people are having, and in most cases, the issue is not really being realized

Don't make assumptions that the log file doesn't contain anything useful.


If you don't provide us with a log, you receive 0 support. Plain and simple.


Next time you do it I'll just give you a 3 day mute. Please, don't waste either of our time.

hey man, take the 1 min and attach a log; it may look 'normal' to you - but it may tell us exactly what we need to know

if it's too big, .zip it and attach it.

FWIW I've seen this same issue with numerous profiles. I'll try again and make a note to grab the log and post here next time I see it.

I have been having issues with the bot completely stopping and it says on the bottom Loading Tile/s for like 30 minutes and whenever I stop and start again its fine. I am a newcomer and have know clue how to give you my logs but I think its more of a loading issue with Honorbuddy and the profile, or maybe my computer is just really slow and it takes longer to process.

Copy/pasting what is contained within the log file is not what support staff wants to see.

They want the log.txt zipped and uploaded to the forums.
There could be information in them that they cant see when you dont upload the file itself.

EDIT:
ALSO, what you are describing is a profile problem.
If you are using one of Kick's profiles do this.

If you start this *midway* (12+), change <QuestOrder IgnoreCheckPoints="True" > -- True to False (hint: open the profile in notepad & 'find' )
