Honorbuddy and Mists of Pandaria

So with the upcoming expasion I started to think, since this is my first expansion with the bot, how long does it usually take for us to be able to bot when the new expansion hits? Is it like a patch where Honorbuddy is quickly updated to work with whatever changes are made or does it take a couple weeks? Also, for anyone that has used Honorbuddy during the beginning of an expansion, is Blizzard more strict with bots in the first few weeks? Thanks in advance for the answers!

It was ready for cata i believe... but that's bc we already had most of the stuff

most patches take 12-24 hours
Major patches can take 2-5 days (or longer if it's an xpac release)

I think our 3.xxx to 4.01? or 4.06? took like a week before we released it to the public (don't quote me on that!)

Honestly it depends on how much stuff they change from Cata to MoP

Oh nice, so it really depends if blizz messes with core stuff from HB. Ok now, about profiles, say HB starts working again 2 weeks from MoP release, can I make gathering profiles for herbs/ore from beta or is that not recommended? Thanks!
