Honorbuddy 2 1.9.6.4 (2827) Authentication Failed

Ok I was running HB2 1.9.6.3 and it was crashing all the time and I was told
to upgrade to HB2 1.9.6.4 (2827) which I did I downloaded the latest
release now I am getting Authentication failed!



What the heck gives why am I a getting this now?

Attached to WoW with ID 3680
Loading Honorbuddy 1.9.6.2827 settings.
Creating settings directory.
Log file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Buddy\HB\Logs\10-2-2010_10_27 PM Log.txt
Authenticating..
Authentication failed.
Authenticating..

And yes I am entering the right username and password! i am using the
same username and password as i was in HB2 1.9.6.3and it worked then
I don't believe this is an issue on my side at all.

Can some one please look into this problem. it seems like it is problem
after problem lately with HB2 the developers should really get it
STABLE! I pay for a product I can use! Right now I can't use this it is
having so many issues. I am a LIFE TIME member as well.
 
Seems to be a issue with the servers i am getting it a lot. Just keep trying it will eventually go through

I am trying it over and over again with 1.9.6.4 and it always fails!

But when I tried it with a version of 1.9.6.1 it logged in the FIRST time.

The version appears to be screwed up. once again they have released another bad
version.

I got in with 1.9.6.1 FIRST try i really wish they would get this damn
bot stable!

i don't think it is the log in servers at all I think it is the RELEASE again that is screwed up!

Come on guys get this right and FIX THIS and get this bot stable!

This piss me off, you dont think they're doing all they can to get the bot stable?
You are showing absolutly no respect to the dev. And I doubt their motivation to get this stable would increase when ppl like you posting like this.
It would be enough to post your log to bossland, and continue trying to login.
Yeye you've paid for this product, we'll have. And this program is not the only one in the world that have gone through some struggle. My opinion...
 
Downgrade to HB2 1.9.6.1 to log in

You know what you can go to hell. They are not doing nearly enough It has been problems after problems with this damn bot. Lately the bot has been very unstable.

This guy has been reported as well so hopefully he won't be posting here again any time soon.
I will show respect when it is due and right not it isn't

Oh and FYI the only way you can log in right now is to downgrade to HB 2
1.9.6.1

are tested by a select few people first then you are going to get

If I downgrade to 1.9.6.1 it lets me log in with NO problems
so this really shows how little you know.

If you don't like it then keep out of my threads I don't need to
see your flaming. Now please go away and don't bother responding.

Again if you are having the same issue as me then download to
HB2 1.9.6.1 and it will let you log in.

i also have this problem, but when i eventually get in my WoW stops responding within the hour and just sits there at a white screen
 
sometimes you get failed just klick a few times on login and it wil work i think its because of the ddos attacks what HB gets sometimes

ok so first off all both of you just stop it right now, your both adults now act like it. if there is any more trouble from ether of you, well, lets just say it wont be nice. consider this your first, and only warning.

I did .. I kept clicking it and clicking it and every time I got the Auth Failed.
But when I went back to HB2 1.9.6.1 I can log in first try.

This isn't a matter of keep clicking the auth is NOT working with
HB2 1.9.6.4 I keep clicking it and clicking it for a long time and it
NEVER logs in! I have yet to be able to log in with 1.9.6.4 but I can
log in fine with 1.9.6.1 on the FIRST try!

Excuse me? I am doing nothing wrong I am trying to use this product and it is failing then this guy comes
along and flames me.

I am sick of people like him and I won't put up with people like that.

So don't threaten me I have done absolutely nothing wrong and I don't take
well to threats! Nor should a moderator be threatening users and I find
his response to be unacceptable. Why is this guy a moderator if he is going
to threaten users?

I am a life time member and have been for quite a while now I got in early on
this project and I get threatened by a moderator. Why is this guy a moderator
here if he is going to act like that!
 
the auth problem can easily be fixed.

windows does not properly release the application.

there's still an icon for hb active by the "notification area" by the clock.

move your mousepointer over the icon so it vnishes be4 you attempt to start hb.

Nope there is no hb icon in the "notification area" I have even rebooted the machine
and made sure there was nothing started and you still get the Auth Failed when you
try and log in with 1.9.6.4

That isn't the issue here
 
The authentication issue has been raised in the official HB thread there is no need to raise another.
 
This thread has been on going for a while now before I am sure that other thread. When I started this I saw no other thread
specifically about the Authentication error with this new release (1.9.6.4)
So really this is a valid thread and this needs to be fixed.

When is it going to be fixed?

Just tell me when it is fixed and tested and verified that it is working then I will
upgrade to 1.9.6.4 right now I am running 1.9.6.1

I always move the mousepointer over the clockarea and it works every time.

If you have hide inactive icons enabled you don't see the icon be4 it vanishes because it happens so fast.

Would you stop calling it by wrong version name for fuck sakes. Its driving me nuckin futz.
And, 1.9.6.1 prolly runs better anyway so what are you crying about.

I am not calling it by its wrong mane that is the RIGHT name for it. So drop the attitude.
and 1.9.6.1 has a few issues of its own.

As I said I have no icon in the tray because I reboot the machine and try fresh. And you still get the
Auth Fail error. Again this is not the problem here.
