Holy vs Disc

Morning all,

Trying to decide firstly what spec is better on priest for instance and then raid healing and following that what healing class script works the best.... so far I am running disc but purely because every one said it was a better healing class, I actually prefer Holy jsut because of the game mechanics etc.

My question is what spec do you all prefer, why and then which lazyraider/script do you use along side it?

Personall I have have tried both Noobrage Disc/Holy and TCDiscpriest with mixed success, both do heal very well but I am interested to get yourviews?

in terms of pve; it depends who you are healing with and how you are geared. disc priests work well at carrying the brunt of the aoe damage if built correctly but can also be built as a tank healer, but will never compete witht eh actualy healing of the holy spec. it relies of absorbs which works very well in 10 mans, but is limited in 25 mans due to the only aoe spell being party bound, holy excells at 25 man but often overheals in 10 mans. for tanks, disc>holy, for aoe, 10man disc>holy unless you are with another priest or a druid, 25man aoe holy>disc.

pvp; disc. rbg's can utilise holy priests sometimes but generally disc all around.
