Hiding "The Honorbuddy" from "The Warden"

...
I've googled for evidence on this and have been unable to find any, why not be constructive and post those links here?
There is code for warden scanners all over the place. The following open source scanner is from 2012 but it is still valid and very informative if you know what you are doing. And no Warden is not scanning outside of the WoW process.

[Tool] EverScan - An Open Source Warden Scanner

Read my earlier post in this thread:

Also, if you had any idea on how warden functions, you would be aware that it in fact does scan things outside of "WoW process".

Actually Warden does not scan outside its own process.

And if it did, it would likely trigger AV and firewall software.

Not anymore that HB triggers AV and firewalls. Anyway, everyone here can rest assured that we are monitoring Warden and WoW itself closely for any attempts at detection.

I don't think the issue is whether Blizzard is allowed to scan or not scan - I think the real reason is that due to privacy rights in many countries it prohibits Blizzard to use these obtained details knowing from who it is - They cannot link it to you in person or your account as that would possibly violate your privacy rights. A virus scanner doesn't send details like "Ah Peter Griffin had Virus XXX on his PC", virus scanners specifically ask you to allow ANONYMOUS data collection ;).

Blizzard does not need reasons to ban you. Even if they did, they could ban you on the spot and they never needed a reason
telling you why. We are accepted, to limmitations. Communtiy complains, blizzard acts. Major communtiy complain = banwave. We didnt have a lot of them.

Maybe 1 or 2. But the forum where flooded then with complains. I wouldnt worry that much tbn.
