So i've botted bgs and farmed for a long long time, pretty new to HB itself, and ive seen various mentions to raid profiles and such like CLU, and after reading this rage post "http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/68310-why-did-you-break-bot-2.html" and a few other, i see so many people here whining that they cant raid with out the bot... what am i missing?

are the bots so well made that they outperform players, or are these players just incompetent tools that cant even grasp one of the simplest games i've ever played...

this is not antagonistic in any way, im just really curious, and if the raid bots outperform players, could anyone give me a run down or explanation of them?

i could figure out how to set them up but i want to learn about them and how good they are, thanks :)

edit;

i cant find any guides or anything, do people just use lazyraider?

One of the key differences between someone using a bot instead of controlling spells themselves is that the bot tends to deliver your rotation almost flawlessly. So you don't get the sub-optimal performance that a human being strays into now and then.
The bot can 'concentrate' longer than me, but I can deliver higher dps usually if I play by hand.

However, being in control of your own spells means you can react better to changing circumstances, IMO.
Try Raid Bot, but to be honest most classes routines are in a mess at the moment. I'd check back in a week or two.
Worth trying new bot routines somewhere quiet by the way, like a quiet city training dummy like UC (rather than in Org or SW with an audience)
Good luck!

thanks for the info, so raid bot is preferable to lazyraider or...? i didnt see much info on raidbot, also i wasn't planning on running into it since 5.0 changed a ton of things, i will be waiting around to see new CCs and such. and yeah im a fairly consistent player, i usually play my classes very effeciently, but its worth exploring this bot i think
