Hey, HB won't mine.

My HonorBuddy won't mine ores. I have just started a Dwarf Paladin and picked up mining/herbalism. Now it only herbs, but when I selected to only mine it still won't mine

I am only using HB for a day so some help would be appriciated

when typing this after an hour of walking with Mine only it picked up an ore

HB is not really designed to mine the way that GB does. It will occassionally pick up a node but trying to use it to level a skill. lol, forgetaboutit

The way that HB Gathers, makes it only possible to gather a node when it's on or close to the mesh.

It works on herbs great because herbs are mostly on the ground or near some trees, which usually get's mapped.

While veins are actually hard to reach manually by hand, not to mention with a bot.To gather ores while leveling, you would need the paths up hills / cliffs to be mapped in order to gather it, otherwise it wont work.

To confirm this, make your own custom mesh of the area you're leveling at, and include the paths to the nodes and see if it will gather them .
