I have the following situation. I use demonbuddy on a account (WD) however i have another account from which i do not use demonbuddy (barb) - different accounts same computer. That being said i need to know if i have any chance of being banned/suspended while not using demonbuddy on the barbarian account.

first and foremost this section is for ban reports ONLY.

however i will answer your question.

they only ban the account your running the bot on, the only time they will go after another account is if they think that gold selling or trading is going on between the two.

What if you were to use 1 account, and join the same game... like lets say run the bot, to power level the other account ??
would the power-leveled account be banned then?

Thanks CodenameG for your reply, but I have a question here. We know it is legal to have in game trade as the D3 official website even has the Trading forum. But how could I possibly know if the guy I'm going to trade with is a botter or not? If I, a good player, got banned because of this, isn't it unfair?

I'm in a similar situation...have 2 accounts that I use on 1 PC. One that I bot with and what that I use to play the game, I've transferred quite a bit of gold and dropped/traded quite a few items on the floor from the bot to the main. So i would be pretty gutted if my main got banned even though I've never botted with it...BUT I know it's a risk, no one knows for sure how or why blizz bans accounts and I suppose you accept that risk the moment you push 'start' on demon buddy...

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't use a "guilty by association " policy cause I'm sure thousands of legit user buy unid's from botters without knowing it...and if that was the case thousands of accounts would have been banned and the forums would have been ablaze with posts!!

Anyway, I don't think no one knows for definite and all you can do is hope and pray!!
