Help with Death grip

So, i'm trying to turn off Death grip however even after editing it out of random CCs including the starter one it just spams me saying it will go pull with melee but never does it. That's not really the problem the real problem seems to be that if I want to use Instance buddy + Grind well that's all and good except you get booted out of every party for Death griping each mob away from the tank.

Not sure how I can just deactivate this function because it seems you have to go into the code to rearrange things as opposed to the button for CC options. Which for whatever reason almost never have any.

Ive also tried turning down the range so he can't death grip but then he only attacks if he gets aggro.
