what are those"common plugins" you speak of? please pm me or reply to this. Thanks.
Well a
profile sets up
guidelines for the bot to follow. These
guidelines can let the bot know to create a game in act 1 at X quest. Then move to certain locations and combat with foes when encountered.
To make this process smoother we use
plugins as a sort of extra
guidelines to tack on to the
profile that we are using.
So when our character kills an elite pack at 5 neph valor we know a rare will drop. The
GilesTrinity plugin lets the bot know that it should check if the item is something that you wanted to keep (based on what you put in your settings on the
plugin, i.e. keep all rare ilvl 63+ weapons). Lets say it was a rare ilvl 63 darkblade (dagger). The bot will pick up the item and keep it until its next town run. When it makes its town run there are many more things you can tell the bot to do such as selling, salvaging, stashing, etc. It will do things based on what
guidelines you gave it.
Well you loaded your act one champion hunting
profile. Rads helps keep this
profile running smoothly and stable. If you die too much Rads can leave the game and start again.
But lets say you wanted to change things up. You load in an act 2 champion hunting
profile. Well since you are still using the
Rads and Trinity plugin your bot will still pick up items for you even though you are running a different
profile.
This makes things easier for both the guys who create these wonderful
profiles for us, the guys who code awesome
plugins to work with these
profiles, and us as the users who want simplicity in botting.
Simply put:
XXXXXXXX
Profile moves your bot
+ XXXXXXX
Routine tells the bot to how to react (attack, avoid arcane, plague, etc) when encountered by foes
+ XXXXXXX
Plugin tells the bot to pick up items and gold
+ XXXXXXX
Plugin tells the bot to recreate the game if character died # of times, remake after finished run
+ XXXXXXX
Plugin tells the bot to try to move randomly if it is stuck somewhere
= You Demonbuddy bot running exactly how you want it to based on predetermined rules set by YOU!!
You can add
plugins to your hearts content!! The reason
AzureusPT says they are "common" is that you should use them no matter what
profile you are using. You always want to pick up good items and piles of gold, right? And create new games after completed runs? If yes then you should always want to use these
plugins, its just "common" sense.
AzureusPT Sorry if I overextended my assumption.
I hope this helps, I tried to make things sound as simple as possible. (I like simple. Even if it may sound really dumb it always makes sense)
If I made something unclear please let me know. English is
NOT my first language.
Lastly, I apologize if the text formatting was excessive. I meant for it to be easy to read but I realize now I may have gone too far.
