Help with 1.0.5 WW Barb Build

Thinking about trying out a ww build for my barbs, need advice from pro ww barb botters.

With my rend build, I went for the standard Str/Vit/AR/LoH for my gear, but I'm guessing a ww barb won't work without crit? Should I drop str then to get crit, and if so, how much str do I need to keep minimum?

Also, what skills should I be using?
 
drop ar for crit, my barb runs dual wield with about 55 crit and 400 all res and does completely fine up to mp8. (140k dps unbuffed)

this, u wana aim for at least 40% ish crit unbuffed (axe/mace on mainhand gives 10%, battle rage also raises a little bit)

res u can rock 500ish unbuffed and u'll be more then fine u wana run at least 30k~ hp, 35 is recommended, with at least 70k dps minimum, and life steal / loh. u dont have to pick one, they both help a lot, and the higher u get ur dps, u can slowly take out loh for more life steal. also aim for high armor (helps a lot)
 
Hmm getting less iph on this 90k dps ww as my 50k dps rend build. Champs that do wall/sentry/aoe completely pwn ww as well, even at mp0. Also it hardly ever uses Berserker since all the fury is constantly being drained by ww and sprint. I'm using Skorn though, not 2 one handers, which may be the problem.

I think I'd need to invest about 500 mil in gear to make ww be able to compete with my current rend barb, or to make it even better, seeing how expensive crit gear is. I'd have to pretty much completely re-gear, fuck it, not worth the effort. If the iph doesn't improve after another 5 hours, gonna just stick to rend.
 
Yeah man, without that LOH I'd be getting deaths, currently I get 1 death max over 10 hours (probably a lag issue). Although you could be right, maybe I could more or less perform the same if I dropped LOH and picked up more crit or whatever, even if I was getting a couple of deaths per hour. I get 900+ LOH off my ammy and 700 off the weapon. LOH helps me a lot, cause I have 2 fast weapons + frenzy.
 
I think what he is referring to is that rend doesn't proc LOH so you should be going LS with a rend build.
 
Honestly I don't have luck at all with WW at all. Weapon throw spec uses mostly the same gear as WW (except for a 300 spear in OH) and I've had better success with it.

you know loh sucks for rend.. either use bloodlust rune or get life steal -_______-
 
Am I only one who bought "budget" immortal's king set? Still it costed around 100mil, and it has only ~90str on head, 150str/50vit/3sockets on chest, 100str on belt, 7-8% ASI, 9%crit 150 str on gloves, 95-100str & 6% crit on head. Not to mention echoing fury (costed around 15mil, 1000dps, 1.45APS, 100str & socket) and other gear.

I ended up with 50-55% crit, 60k dmg unbuffed, 2.30 APS, 500 AR unbuffed, 24% MS, 30k hp, around 5k armor, 1000loh, 5.5% LS, which seems decent, but not when you think that I spent around 130-150mil gold total, and I could get similar stats with way less gold if I didn't go for immortal's king, so I'm wondering, is it really worth it ?
 
I do use blood lust rune. Most heals come from revenge, not rend, rend is not used often enough to be the only healer. LOH gives good heals with frenzy.

7-8% ASI 150 str IK gloves arent exactly "budget". That alone + the chest is already over 100m.
