Sooo, when my bag gets full it goes to sell the stuff and keeps clicking open the shop then it closes then opens then closes then opens then closes then opens and repeats until I notice it has fucked up :'(

This can happen if you d/c and log back in without restarting Honorbuddy. When you d/c (or in any other manner leave and re-enter the game world), Honorbuddy becomes partially disconnected from the WoWclient. Honorbuddy is unable to detect and repair this situation.

A simple restart of Honorbuddy should fix this right up.

With me, the same is happening. I tried the restart as you described, went as far as reinstalling wow, and nothing. Every time my toon goes to sell on a forcesetvendor command, it keeps running back and forth from the mailbox. Not even the DoMail works. Help?

I just noticed its not only not the greys (or grays) but also the whites dont sell. I have set to sell both grey and white in the profile and nothing happened. This is weird. Here is a copy of the log though I cant see if it helps much!

Okay, first whenever you ask for help, the first thing you should do is attach a log that demonstrates the problem to your post...

How To: Attach your HB Log File [with pictures]​

It just frustrates all parties involved when you have to play "20 questions" to figure out what the problem is. A log abates much of such frustration.


Second, I've seen one legitimate report of what appears to be an Honorbuddy bug in respect to this. The post for that is here. In this user's log, Honorbuddy says it wants to sell, and goes to the vendor. But, on arrival, it immediately closes the vendor window and complains that the vendor is not a mailbox.

If this is your problem, the Community will be unable to assist you with it, and you'll need to submit a bug report (and post your logs that demonstrates the problem) in a BugTracker. If you confirm you've got the same bug, yet nobody opens a BugTracker, the problem simply won't be considered for repair.

Hah you changed your .exe to adobe.exe?

I know it probably can make a difference if the .exe is changed.
Try changing it back to honorbuddy.exe and see if that changes anything.

Also can you tell us how much bagspace you have?

[1:47:12 AM:415] Can't mail item:Battleworn Hammer. Item is a equipped
[1:47:12 AM:432] Can't mail item:Bank Robber's Bag. Item is soulbound
[1:47:12 AM:434] Cleared POI - Reason Done mailing

I spot checked a few of these, and indeed they are soulbound. Honorbuddy won't sell or mail soulbound items (even if they are 'white's)--you must do this manually.

This could happen if your bags were full of things that Honorbuddy is not allowed to sell or mail (e.g., all the items in the bags are either 'protected' or soulbound). It is unable to clear the bags to meet the 'minimum free bag slot' requirement requested by the profile. So, it gets stuck in an endless loop--bouncing between the vendor and mailbox trying to achieve that 'minimum bag slot' requirement.

Clear your bags manually, and all should be good again.

Kinda to echo what china said...

Make sure you have enough bagspace.

Item doesn't meet the itemqualitys specified in the profile

also make sure that in the profile itself, grey/white/green quality items are set to sell.

Like this.

    <SellGrey>True</SellGrey>
    <SellWhite>True</SellWhite>

Another thing that I do is edit my Protected Items.xml
I take out many of the things that I dont want protected such as cloth or drinks/food.
