Help me with RAM please

I'm currently using 2 VMware work station.
Assigned 2.5 GB of RAM per station.
Whne I first open D3 and Demonbuddy , around 1 GB Ram is free and available, but then after a few hour I got a message : low on memory please close the program : Diablo 3 Retail
I read post and saw that people can run D3 on 1GB of RAM or something
Can someone help me with this problem please.
I set D3 on lowest setting, disabled sound and all other stuff, but it eats up my 1GB free RAM in no time and and D3 stopped working.

Searched online and I think it's potentially a memory leak problem.
My CPU usage is only about 30%
I read posts and saw that people can run 10 bots with 16 Gbs of RAM
ANd there I'm having trouble running 3 bots with 9 GB of RAM for some reasons
Someone please help me with this

Would help to know the OS you're using for the VMWare, but anyway, are you doing anything on the computer while they run in the background? Remember that if you choke it on your main comp you'll starve your VMware stations as well. Just want to make sure you're not bottlenecking it without realizing it ^_^

I followed the Guide How VMware look like ...... , used that OS
I just start my window up , turn on VMware, open D3 + demon buddy let it run
D3 started from 400 MB and eventually took up to 1.3 Gb but np, demon buddy 100 MB - 150 MB okay, OS 300 - 400 MB
The RAM in use is roughly 1.8 GB , and I have like 700 Memory to spare , most of them are cached + inactive file
I don't know why I get the low memory , need to clear programs. If I ignore it , it will eventually close my D3 program

After some time, the whole 2.5 GB got eaten up , I closed everything and still got an extra 1 GB in use compared to when I first started window

Why are you using VMWare in the first place and not just running them?

I cant run them for some reason
Copied D3 folder into a new one , created short cut to D3.exe , got o tager add -launch . Click run didn't work

D3 will use about 1.1-1.3GB for act 3. Closer to 800-900mb for act 1. If it starts using more than that you have some sort of problem, try repairing your D3 install maybe?

Also there is a registry value you can delete that will stop that warning from coming up. The warning isn't important, if you actually run out of RAM the game will just crash.
