Help: Hunter Issues/Bugs.

I've managed to get rid of most of my issues with the Hunters.

My main big issue is that within 5-10minutes of running the profile he seems to go insane and run about 100yards away, normally until he hits a tree....

This is the result. 50-100 yards away, lying in the dirt :(
He runs there using strafe running, forward + left/right strafe

Reinstalling HB (Yes fresh installs)
Different Profiles

This is not a new issue. I have made several threads about this issue and posted several logs, but I guess it is not a high priority bug. :(

I may have to request a refund for purchasing HB because right now it is unusable with hunters.

I just spent the last 5 minutes watching my hunter trying to run into a wall. If I turned him manually he would just run in a straight line or an arc forever, never stopping. No mouse click or keypress will stop it.

This is especially bad in the area he is right now (Dragonblight), because he runs off a cliff into a fjord and the bot is permanantly stuck until I come, stop the bot, and manually bring the character up out of the fjord. Has happened 3 times now.

Very frustrating that we get no response or assistance on this issue at all.
 
YES! Its bugging me aswell... tried several times (reinstall/new folder/new cc) but nothing works.. it sucks since everybody says a hunter is one of the fastest class to level (Yeah right....... :P)
 
Manage to get rid of this issue, using the TehHunter CC again

Now the issue with walking backwards 500yards is back. So seems no matter which CC I use I have some weird effect
 
If it's any consolation I will be developing a new hunter CC over the next week.
 
Scrap my last comment, it's completely useless to bot with a Hunter currently...

If anyone could read my log files I would be thankful for advice...
 
My lev 44 atm hunter is running very very nicely
I am using the hunterz CC or w/e it is name...not the default one.

Excellent news, although I'm not sure sure it's the CC as much as the bot itself. I've tried both hunter CCs out there and they both exhibit the behavior. Also, it didn't start occurring until the mid- to later-levels (50+). Now I'm not sure if some new talent/spell/etc. triggered the problem, or if a WoW patch changed the interaction between it and the bot, thus causing this behavior going forward.

Too many variables to test.

For the time being I'm going to abandon my hunter as far as botting is concerned until the cause and solution can be identified.

Its the CC. I've expierenced all the issues mentioned above with the various CCs. I don't get the same behavour on other CCs so that eleminates HB as the fault.
 
fpsware, no it does not.

Just because a CC worked fine for you, in the past it does not mean it's the CC.

You will find that people have used Hawkers default CC just perfectly in the past, yet now it has the issues posted above.
 
im adding my findings here as well. i have found you need this to run a hunter...

a tanking pet.
25+fps for proper spell casting... much lower on melee and instant casters
up to date glyphs
update gear when you can
even ammo
loot range 40
pull range 26-35 26 at lower levels helps
and food for you and your pet as i know it sells it if your not using it...
 
I've been using the standard CC that comes with HB. It seems to work most of the time, but there are some oddities. He'll run around in circles sometimes when the pet engages a mob. He also does a lot of body pulls, which gets dangerous in area where he can pull multiple adds. IDK, he got from 1-20 in just a couple days so I'm going to stick with it for now.

Most of the issues I'm having are with the pathing, which I think is related to the mesh. I'm using the Dwarf 1-60 profile that's posted in the profiles section ... but he gets stuck a lot when trying to get herbs on hills or to a certain hotspot on the map.

IDK, it seems like the only way to get HB to work 100% is to create your own profile and mesh. For me, it's working well enough for now.
