Help getting started writing my own profiles

Hi,
Im sure there is a post somewhere for getting started writing profiles and I thought I had found it on the wiki however the page is empty. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

theres a guides section and a developers section, both should have useful information as you can also learn by looking at already completed profiles.

Thats what I've been doing so far. But right now I am having a problem getting a zone id. I have a profile that is working as far as gathering embersilk, but I can't make it fly, I can't make it go to deepholm on its own, and I am trying to figure out how to make it use the treasure finding potions as a part of the profile. Over all though, Id really just settle for a way to determine my zone id.

For your First problem (finding Zone ID's) type:

/run message(GetCurrentMapAreaID());

in the wow Chatbox. a window will pop up with your current zone ID

The second thing should be easy found in other ppl profiles.

or use the developer tools in honorbuddy. theres a button for it in the settings menu.
