Hi specialok,

Make sure you have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable and Net 4.0 installed, per this thread. Please let us know if that does the trick.

Good luck,
-D

Im still getting the same message :( having installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable and Net 4.0 and restarted my machine

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Avast quarantines the file and says it is infected.. i dont want to install anything that may harm my computer any further.. are you 100% sure this file is safe to download

i installed the demonbuddy thing from the link bypassed avast unzipped and tried to run it and got the error msg "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to do that." I also tried running it as administrator and that didnt work. Made sure I was logged in as the admin as well and still didnt work

yea i had to unzip it to put it onto my desktop. winrar unzips it. then i tried to run it as administrator and that error msg comes up
