Hi,
Firstly, I am not the type of person that wants "spoon feeding" (despite the topic title). But on this occasion I feel I have a need to access all and any resources available.
I am currently studying an Open University Degree ("Distance learning" to anyone outside the UK) and now find myself in an awkward position. In the last few years I've learnt a good portion of Java and C# (C# is not taught by my course, I learnt it myself), as well as some of the older procedural languages like Basic, Pascal and a little ASM and Hex. Now I have to adjust to VB, which for some reason seems to be confusing the hell out of me? I have some "probably" quite fundamental questions to which I just cannot find the answers. Unfortunatly, my lecturer has taken a bit of a disliking to me (or just cant be assed), so to ask for help there is not a great option for me. I suspect to someone experienced in VB, my questions would be very simple to answer or might offer me a link in the right direction. My level of VB is not far past the "hello world", simple GUIs, events and basic logic, though I have a reasonable understanding of the other languages I use.
I will not ask these questions in the opening thread, so as to not publicly humiliate myself to you all. But if anyone with a kind heart and a little patients would be willing to help me (just a little) I would be eternally grateful.
Kind Regards
