[HELP] Account Expansion required for Gathering

Hey there,

I'm not sure if this question was posted somewhere else before. If so, please tell me! :)

My question is: Is it technicaly possible to gather with an only Battlechest/only Cata account?
If so, is it good? Or should I definatly buy this MoP expansion for the accounts?

Well depends on your server. you can make great profit on Saronite and fel iron ores on some servers , wich dosnt require MoP
 
Too bad you didn't think ahead on this one. MoP was 50% off through Sept. 17th. :confused:
 
Check your servers prices for ores. If there are some that's high in price and got a high demand you could probably go with just a battle chest or cata.
 
Cobalt and Saronite sell for a fortune on my server. Almost 3-4 times as much per stack compared to ghost iron. You could easily make a lot simply from selling those ores.

Check your server's AH and see what will be most profitable for you. Newest doesn't always equal best.
 
old mats are very profitable, i sell stacks of fel iron and cobalt at 300g for example, but don't have near as much demand as current mats, a few days can pass without a sale. In conclusion, its a good market but a lot slower, you can easily stockpile and not sell for a while making more farming a waste of tiem and space, not like currents mats which sell very fast and nets a lot more gold over the long run.
 
The best way to make gold in wow is to do some research into the AH and use websites like the undermine journal for info.
Try and keep ahead of the curve and you're golden!
 
i farm with cata and mop accounts they bother are profitable , it takes longer to sell the cata goods and it usually only sells in ah , with mop you can sell anywhere anytime and fast as hell depending on the server so its up to you completely how you plan to make your profit
