Hi

I have been interested in the HonorBuddy for some time! A friend of mine at college told me he brought it and he uses it a lot and recommended me getting it.
I did use Pirox Fishing bot before he was probed by Blizzard and since then I never have used a bot since.

I have made approx 120k gold on my own without bots, but that was over a long time and I should of had more but the wife kept dipping her hands into my guild bank!

I guess I want to use Honorbuddy for a couple of reasons, I have all classes that I have always max leveled but since I got married and have a full time job it has not been possible to level all of them up in MoP. I have always wanted the Spectral Tiger mount and my wife has always wanted the Rooster Mount, so would be nice to be able to make enough gold to possibly buy one (I love mounts).

My only concern is that the bot would be working on my main account from which I play and raid on and I'm not really aware of how many people have been caught? because being caught is something I cant really risk.

So I ask for your advice and knowledge on what you think the right choice I should make.

Hello and welcome!

From my personal experience with HonorBuddy, I would NOT recommend using it with your main account. I did and I got it banned. . . thankfully, I'm great at writing letters, so I was
able to have the permanent ban watered down to a 72-hour suspension (can't argue with that). I've learned my lesson and I no longer plan on using HB with my main account. Lately,
there seems to be an alarming increase in the amount of bans, so I would wait until the ban reports decrease.

Seeing as you're interested in mounts, which require a lot of gold, I would suggest creating starter accounts with which to bot on. . . that way, if you are caught, it will only be the
starter accounts that will be banned/suspended. Any gold that those accounts make can be funneled into your main account, with which you can purchase your grail of mounts.

Hi, there's no guarantee that you wouldn't get banned( I'd be lying if i told you you can't get banned). I suggest if you're not ready to risk your main getting banned, you start another account and bot that. But in any case you should always rotate/randomize the profiles which you use.

How much is to make a new account? I assume have to buy WoW, BC, WotLK, Cata and MoP ? also will they not see your the same user as one account to another and ban all? ie see same credit card details for both accounts/ same name/ email address?

I'm not exactly sure, because this will be the first time I create an account specifically for botting. I'd suggest using time cards, that way they don't have your payment information.
