I just installed Hearthbuddy on my desktop after reinstalling windows
but get this error on launch and am not sure how to resolve it:

System.Exception: Could not successfully set up_synchronization_events!

ExecutorInitParams initParams)

I am running Windows 10 Pro x64 with all current updates. I did
reinstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 latest distribution and .net
framework. Is there specific versions I might have had in place
previously that are missing or is the error unrelated? I've tried
reinstalling hearthbuddy with no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated.

GeForce Experience, FRAPS used to be installed though I don't believe I've readded it, Razer Synapse (though I only run it manually periodically to update drivers for my keyboard), and TeamViewer. I also had Rivatuner enabled though its not currently installed.

All of these programs were previously installed and there were no issues with Hearthbuddy

All of these programs were previously installed and there were no issues with Hearthbuddy

this doesnt mean,as stated on the link above, that its impossible to have issues after a point

remove the programs on list and give it a go plz

Removing the programs had no change in effect, here is the updated log with all of the programs removed - any other ideas?:

Hi, Truenecrology,

OS Version: 10.0.10586

The RTM ('released') version of Windows 10 is Build #10240 (currently). You are using a Beta version (aka, 'insider preview') of Windows. Please roll back to the RTM version, and show us a log of the problem from that. If you don't know how, you'll need to use Google to figure how to move from the 'Beta' OS back to 'Release'.

We know for a fact that the Beta versions of Windows will not allow the Buddy bots to work correctly, in some circumstances. We need to eliminate this as a possibility.

cheers,
chinajade

Sorry but this cannot be accurate - I installed a legitimate copy of Windows 10 with no beta settings - this is the most recent stable version of windows with no way to roll back. Additionally, the issue was still present with the initial installation so I don't think my windows install version is the issue. If there is a specific feature that could cause the issue I am happy to investigate my settings for a potential root cause.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Jacob
