Hearthbuddy crashes at checking for updates!

RESOLVED: Buddy Dependency Installer fixed the issue
OS: Windows 8.1
Hearthbuddy 0.2.395.76 (Version)
Ran hearthbuddy.exe as administrator
Smartscreen and user account settings are both disabled.
I am sure its something simple like I need to install something before running hearthbuddy but im stuck. Anyone that can help I appreciate it.
