Hi guys, so ive been playing a slightly modified corruption routine using pureswtor and that was working great. It didn't have any targeting issue that defaultcombat has with healing specs atm. It just goes nuts. After the patch and new version of BW came out the Pureswtor now does exactly the same thing as default combat it just targets 1 char and decides to spam heal it. Can someone pls help me out as healing clases (corruption) is what I enjoy to play and want to continue using. What changed? What can I do to try fix this problem or help in some sort? Is there anyone out there that actually got any of the healing routines to work at patch 4.0a or 4.0.2? I know I had corruption and the operative healer to work with pureswtor with patch 4.0a cept for the mercenary which the bot cannot detect its healing discipline.

Any input about this is much appreciated :)

This has been a problem for quite a while. I was never able to get healing to be completely stable. Around or before the Yavin expansion came out, things got quite a bit worst. I tried really hard to get things going well with the yavin expansion, but I was getting nowhere and spending hours upon hours trying to get it to work. The unfortunate thing is that object in swtor with null out and change I wasn't about to really get something reliable going for just my companion and I running around in the daily zone. I may return to this, but it wont be soon as I have my work projects and one other project I am working on.

Thank ama, I just needed that clarification :) It would be nice if you can get something working doesn't have to be perfect. even when it was working I had to baby sit it a little. I know people are busy with other work and I understand that as I also have other commitments. Ill play dps in the meantime. But can you tell me, has this got to do with the routine itself and if so where in the routine can I should i start to look? or buddywing? As a mate of mine does all this programming stuff and he might be able to help if I asked him exactly what I want it to do. His one of the devs in a really old game we used to play called Everquest in the emulated server. Or anyone that can somewhat help PM me im more than happy to donate for hard work to get a healing somewhat working.

The issue we generally run into is that the ObjectManager (which locates the Object, the target you want to heal) loses its target because SWTOR moves memory around all the time so we get a null value.

Ama had it working really well pre-3.0. The ObjectManager would only bug out on companions, the bot would heal OPs and FPs just fine. I know that Joe's routine would force hard-target on the companion, but that code was a freaking mess. I'd love to have your friend look at it-- we can always use more eyes on minds on the bot.
