Ok , still pretty new to all this. I did some searching but info seems very scattered, so i would like some help.
I want to run some instances/dungeons with my priest with me at the wheel and the healbot doing massive heals.
I got no skills in making profiles....
What do i need/ what works ?

You need HB1 for this.

1. Load any profile
2. Load the mesh
3. Under options click "Clear mesh"
4. Join Instance
5. Profit.

Is this 100% true for all CCs? I thought some had special movement/range checks which would cause issues.

If you want to heal, then it?s only doable with CC that has healbot implmented.

Gotwood for druid or Mords pally cc work great for healbotting (not sure the lvl range you are currently in). And you would just load 1 hb for the healbot and put any mesh/profile and set it to RAF (make sure you are group leadeR) and the bot will follow you and heal. Make sure u setup the setting if you use Mord's pally cc it has some awesome options.

DO this, Then just get the healing priest CC for HB1 =] works well =]
 
hmmm..tried it but didn't like it... I run out of mana way too fast and loads of stuff happening in background.
It almost seems like HB is still trying to attack the mobs even with a full healpriest cs running.
I actually get a lot more healing done by hand.
Maybe we can persuade someone to make a real profile for it...

for more of a steady and pure healbot i have seen the gotwood (druid) not the raid healz version but the group/party /raf healbot works great. (make sure u get the version for hb1 or hb2 depending on which you are using)
 
i was wondering if you can use HB to join an instance and have it heal the MT for you, but not necessarily have the MT be you, but be a random person also. Do you just put him on follow and the bot would do the rest? Ive never used the RaF function before, but the levelbot works awesome!

BTW i have a 51 shaman i wanted to try it out on.

Yes you can but i would be weary of a random tank gettin mad at you on /autofollow to him. (the tank must also be the group leader) so if your dungeon selects the dps as group leader then your bot will attempt to heal the dps primarly. I used the Gotwood druid cc (with movment excludeD) it heals awesome for the whole group (i have not tried the priest or pally cc with lvl 80s) i dont have pally or priest at lvl 80 yet but i have done several 30-50 dungeons with mord's pally cc as main heals i was tanking but if you set it to follow group leader it may still work even if he not the tank however it gonna follow the group leader no matter what.
 
ahhh i seee, makes sense. I use the shamwow CC, so if i set it to RaF, it will monitor the group leader, and heal him? will it also monitor the group and heal them too? I will defiantely be sitting right at my desk when i try this, so i'll try not to make it suspicious.

I also have a 80 priest that ive played for ever. im curious to how the healbot scripts work for that. im excited, because in all reality, healing is boring but someones gotta do it!
 
it will also monitor group but the healing %'s are set for the group leader as tank ( so the big heals and fast heals will go to the grou pleader) while the group heals and lighter heals(mana hogs) will go to the rest of group. im not sure how the shamwow cc works for party healing. i use that as well but my shammy is 54 and does bg's or solo bots. Havent done dungeons and he's ele not resto so havent attempted much healin.
 
It wont Auto join a dungeon for you.. But, you can make it heal the whole dungeon :)
 
yeah thats what i figured, so can i just queue up, start honorbuddy on raf mode and when i get into the instance the bot will auto follow the dungeon leader, and take over healing?
