Yesterday i saw mephuser1000 creating a thread for this very game - Marvel Heroes - https://marvelheroes.com/,
sadly though we didn't get any reply from admins. I understand if the buddybots staff is still indecisive regarding this game and weather it will be profitable ti develop a bot for this game, my only intention is to bring this up to their attention. I don't know how do you guys do your research when deciding weather a game is worth developing a bot for, but imo marvel comics is extremely popular franchise and the marvel universe and heroes were part of the childhood of most (if not all) gamers today.

For those of you more interested in details, here is a direct interview with Athene vs David Brevik (Yes David, the original d2 developer) where you can see some gameplay and detailed discussion.

I tried the beta yesterday, imo it will die within 2 weeks after the release.

Tbh i share your opinion, the graphics were far from satisfactory, but then again marvel is owned by Disney, and they pretty much sux at everything this days so it kinda makes sense... But marvel is marvel, i believe it will have at least a large starting player base if disney decides to promote the game hard enough, hell they can even hit a 10mil sales with proper marketing if they know what they are doing...

I played 3-4 hours i liked the amount of items it droped and there were ton of pll and there is ton of fun comments on some items from spider man.
Tbh i liked almost everything, but it looks bad and the levels are designes uninteresting. And while there ton of mobs too keep things active they look boring.
I guess it was just too normal for me ruuning aroud some asfalt street and killing thugs. Also top down view is boring.
I think it will die.

It doesn't matter how long will it last Soullinker, what matters is the starting playerbase, look d3, the playerbase crashed within a month it was down to what, 2-3% from start playerbase, yet that is when people that owned like 15-30 bots made tens of thousands of euros in the first month-two while gold was still at descent price. What matters is the marketing and the brand name, and they got the both. I think ditching on this project in early development is a bad idea, i will definitely keep an eye on this and see how it turns out, and so should the buddybots team.

I hope you are right Bertrand. As i said i like the game and mechanics good old skill tree boe items it has potential, just i dont like the way it looks .
But i from eu and comics are not popular at all, i based my assumtion that most of the gamers now day like eye candy.

If BT start working on it has to be out fast and dirty even if not secure and below BT standarts, just working so even if we get banned like flies we get the 1st wave.

Marvel universe not popular ? Are you kidding me ? Wolverine, Cyclope, Hulk, Spiderman, Captain America, Thor, Punisher... All they need is proper marketing and D3's characters graphic designers, coz the current character designs sux almost as hard as D3's economy :D

the only new mmorpg coming that will last longer then a couple of weeks will be elder scrolls online

Played the beta and honestly I thought was pretty boring, at least for PoE I played about a week.

Blind... why not a huge release by Trion? Not many talk about it some bots already testing for it. Doubt db team are up to another real mmo. Realease is two weeks away.

game is f2p

a real basic bot to grind some of the earlie profits (if there are even profits to be made) would be enough imo. bot-price would have to be really moderat as well.

There will be no real money auction house so your going to need to sell things manually ;)
However I'm sure people will thrive to be the best so they will buy anything...just look at how many ultimate packs they have sold already, they are promoting the packs more than the game itself :P I get emails almost every other day about the founder packs.

How about Lineage Eternal? Lineage saga has millions of fans worldwide, Lineage 2 remains the best game i have ever played. Back in the day people were making money on botting L2. So i think there is a fair chance for Eternal to be bottable as well.

Lineage Eternal will not be released until GW2 dies (i.e people stop buying gems from the micro-transactions store).

go bot another dead game! if diablo 3 is called a dead game , cant find a suitable world for marvel, it is worse than diablo 3...

Game looks meh, to be honest given how big the Avenger movie is and the huge interest in Marvel films generally (Iron Man, Thor, Hulk etc) I'm surprised they didn't have a really big go at this title as if the films generate tons of revenue then the games could be even bigger.
Sadly they are so short sighted they would rush a piece of crap out rather than take time and money to invest in a title that can pay back in a big way.

This game will go the same way The Matrix Online, Star Trek, LOTR and so on. Quick cash in's but otherwise crap.

*these are my opinions and may not express the views of the entire buddy team*

it looks interesting, but definitely not the kind of game that i would be interested in. i dont like the whole top down style kind of games, it to me feels kind of impersonal. there was a reason why i liked Smite more then i liked League of Legends when i was trying out games in that genre.

as far as plans, i think the entire team would like to sit and see how the game does first before diving into it. not only that but there's also the money factor, if there's money to be made people will be looking for tools to help them farm items or whatever to make money. the game can the best game of the year, but in the end of there's no money to be made, that's a whole customer base that's not going to waste time on it.
