This statement is directly from Blizzard's End User License Agreement. They are allowed to scan whatever the hell they want while you use their program to ensure the integrity of it. You agreed to this User Agreement to use their program, giving them consent to search the contents of your RAM. It's not against the law, because you agreed to their EULA. Get over yourselves. Yes, this is nothing new, so close the thread. But the threat exists and it is VERY possible this guy got an email from Blizzard stating they found Honorbuddy on his computer.

Blizzard does not scan outside of memory "owned" by D3 (or D2, WoW and SC2). That's a fact. If you try to argue something else then at least post some proof backing up your claims.
That doesn't mean the EULA is wrong though. They just didn't specify the limitations of their scans.

They NEVER point out the way they've found out you cheat, they just claim to have proven you do.
With all the bans which have hit me, I've never gotten any exact proof, and I doubt anyone ever will.

And it doesn't matter if you've agreed to they can scan or not, its STILL ilegal.
