HB2, Pies and the speed of light

So, all the devs have gotten their hands on HB2 (thank god).
And I see less updates on old CC's.

I guess that means that most Devs really don't wanna spend time upgrading and fixing a CC they know will be obsolete in .. .. yes well soon I hope. That's totally understandable. I work with Q/A for a major gaming company myself, I know the thrill of fixing stuff days before a content patch.

I don't know what I was trying to say more then .. if you don't feel like update your CC's because its a waste of energy so close to HB2 its fine. I rather take a tweaked working HB2 CC "when its done" then a slightly better HB1 CC now. I guess what I am fishing for is a:
"Since HB2 will come next week I CBA to update my CC's" or similar.
:)

Edit#1: Oh yeah, pie is good
Edit#2: The speed of light is really fast.

Huh?

Last I heard CC will work just fine with the new HB2. Could be wrong though.

some CC devs are beta testing HB2 and developing their CCs to make em work with the new version (afaik). All CCs work one way or another. So let devs make em work for when HB2 is released

And here i was expecting a hb2 CC that creates pie charts at the speed of light :(

theres alot of CC, like mine project e, that needed a lot of changes made to it to even get it to compile correctly with HB2 let alone run. and eventhough it compiles, it still wont move. so more changes still have to be made to it to get it to work with HB2 correctly. its not an easy task running multiple versions, and supporting multiple projects at the same time. but as for me, i feel that yes, Project E does have issues, for the time being its as close to perfect as it needs to be. and i released Ecliptor and give it to all of you, so dont say that all the devs just gave up, its hard work, and we get nothing out of it. and really, your fave-rate CC developer dosnt owe anyone anything they can leave and stop supporting thier project anytime they want. they can even not release the source so other cant continue their work. i guess what im saying is, dont expect miracles, and we dont "have" to release new versions or fixes if we dont want to. be happy with what you got. because you dont know what you lost untill its gone.

They all need to be rewritten (to some extent). Some may only take a few minutes to fix, some may take longer.

EDIT: Removed because someone though I was being a bitch and making fun of someone else!

THERE ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?! ARE YOU?

HB2.0 is pretty much a rewrite. Lots of namespaces has moved or changed name, alot of stuff has also been added and we have made sure evrything is performing on top some cc's might take longer than others to get working again. If some of you cc devs need help and really can't get it working don't hesitate, throw me a pm and i'll give you my msn and see if i can help. :)

All CCs need to be rewriten, but it's not something hard to do. There have been some issues, like Project E is not moving @ all and there no errors in logs, so it's a hard task ahead.

We are working togheter to bring CCs working to new Version. And Hope you all dont get disapointed.

But we still release new content for current CC, and of course, we do what we can. After all we have a life to run. :)

ive been wanting to talk to you for a while. your almost like a mysterious being thats around, but i dont see or talk to kinda like god, or <GM> Zarborough. but ive never had a reason to.

Unless there are some major changes from the early CC Dev beta copy, The One CC will be working immediately.

This wasn't a dis to anyone if you felt it was.
It was more of a "tribute" to the devs that made my last nite be a helluvanite and telling you we understand if the "upgrade" speed for the non HB2 versions are slowing down now the time (days?) before HB2 release.

Hmmmmmm .. that came out kinda wrong.
:)

If any dev is experiencing problems with CC conversion, drop me a pm.

Already got 2 CCs fully working with HB2 and one needs some fixing, but the error is in the Dark.
