[HB2][Neutral] 77+ Frostweave Cloth Farm by Marverick

[Marverick]

This profile farms Frostweave Cloth in the Valley of Heroes, an area in Icecrown. The profile repairs, vendors and mails in the Shadow Vault, so you need to have completed the quest where you overtake the Shadow Vault. The farm area itself is very quiet. There's only one quest here that requires people to kill five Scourge Converters, so afk botting isn't a problem.

When the bot returns from a vendor-run it might get attacked by mobs at the stairs of the Shadow Vault. Due to the nature of HB the bot will dismount and fight the mobs, even though they're on his avoid list. This rarely happens, and if it does your bot will go back to the grindarea after the mobs die. This doesn't take more than two minutes.

The Fallen Hero's sometimes run to another area to despawn there. Depending on the HB cc you're using your bot might chase the mob for awhile. I blackspotted the entire edge of the zone there, so it shouldn't hinder your bot too much.

This is a problem with Honorbuddy itself. The mobs you're talking about are already in the bots avoid list, but if the mobs hit your bot he'll dismount and fight. That said, this should rarely happen and when it does your bot will help the NPC's kill the mobs and go back to grinding after a minute or two.

just from looting i got 500g on one night haven't sold all frostweave. good farming profile.

my char gets stuck on the pole on the right side of the stairs (looking down) and it takes a good 5 minutes for him to get unstuck

same problem with the stuck in the stairs. Otherwise a great profile! peacefull and good xp. Nice trinket-reward for the requiered questchain.

Keeps going to the lower area and following mobs that evaporate. Lowers g/h which is bad for me. Nice effort, but I wouldn't recommend this profile.

I can't load this profile: HB says "specified cast not valid"
I don't see anything wrong with the profile when I look through it, and I've used this profile before with no problems. Not sure how to fix a problem that doesn't seem to be there lol!

These are my stats after 1 hour trying it:

Loots: 139 (loot radius 90)
Kills: 187
Class: Warlock
Talent Spec: Destruction
Gearlevel: About 5500 GearScore

I got 28 gold (including vendoring and looting), 5 green BOE, 1 blue BOE, 2 healing potions, 1 Titanium Lockbox and 79 clothes.

After disenchanting, 28 gold, 2 Dream Shard, 11 Infinite Dust, 2 Greater Cosmic Essence, 2 Runic Healing Potion, 1 Titanium Lockbox and 79 Frostweave Cloth. On my server that's more or less 49 gold plus the lockbox.

Obviously, it's needed to play much more time to have a better idea of how you can expect to get in average.

It spends a lot of time when going to repair, but well, it's really useful anyway, 150g/h just killing and looting mobs is great.

Averaging about 2g or more per minute. Great cloth drops especially if your a Tailor with the extra drop bonus I was farming on my priest and picked up the Ape in a bubble trinket which is bop but still alot of fun. Great share thanks!

Running good so far as a grind on 76 hunter. Frostweave seems to drop quite nicely too, though I've had to remove the vendor and mailbox locs as I haven't done that Q yet >.<

is there another vendor in that area? I haven't done the q either.

This profile is pretty good, been running it on my warrior he is tank spec level 80
no deaths and around 100g p/h without selling all the cloth and vendoring the greens you get from this.
The mobs also drop Runic Healing Potions which sell for alot on my server

Am I the only one having problems using this profile if I die? - cant move to corpse because it tries to fly.. and then the spam starts with "Hb doesn't support flying mounts" can post a log if you want.
