HB3 The issues with dungeonbuddy among other things are still there


any eta when this is going to be working equaly or better as dungeonbuddy hb2? right now im sitting on accounts i can throw away

Most dungeons should be working again. What dungeons are you specifically having problems with?
If you are using custom scripts you might need to update them yourself.

Wait for those specific products developers to update their stuff... Nothing to do with HB really.

These are HB3 BUGS NOT Hb2.

Mist of pandaria heroics have still not beeen updated (you have to use a zip provided in the comments with the correct boss orders(checked last month not sure now tho) also Many warlords of dreanor normals & heroics are not scripted well enough to be doable, i cant complete random 5man heroics because The Grimrail dungeon is bugged you get stuck running into a wall on teh train(probably pathing with the train moving that you are on) and shadowmoon second boss is not doable either, and there are a few other bugs here and there that ive reported in the dungeonbuddy thread that wont get fixed if you ask me, thats why i was using honorbuddy2.

and using HB3 in bloodslag mines it wont move afterkilling the first boss, yet alone do irondocks after first boss among other things.

PS: blackfhantom deepths or whatever the level 18-25 dungeon is called doe snot work because the pathing is not right on many places.

and timewalking dungeons does not work even if u add the corect dungeon ids & cs files to the dungeon (you cant queue for it because it does not showup in the dropdown menu


Kicks profiles are reallllyyyyy buggy with 3.0, ive done multiple characters 1-100 and ive had to do many quests myself up, or to comeback finding them stuck in the weirdest places (not just once) and many of the bugs have been reported but not fixed in very long time. Notable the goreground questing with kicks gets stuck when the bot picks the herb machine part and cant complete quests and keeps turning in and stops (looks really botty ish) and in stonemaul hold the bot gets stuck after doing quest turn ins/vendor run, happened on 5chars but none using hb2 so its wierd.

also many profiels from the store does not work

these are just the ones i can think off the top of my head right now. i dont want to risk my accunts re-doing these parts to find the exact amount of bugs ive encountered but the dungeonbuddy using hb2 and questing with hb2 was
working mostly perfectly.

Using Zorbin's Ultra-Shrinker " is stucking the bot in mountains that it used to mesh around perfectly with hb2. HOW could this make it past internal testing ?

How much would it cost (us) to pay the Honorbuddy staff to continue supporting Honorbuddy 2 for another month or so? Or at least release a new version of Honorbuddy 2 after this last WoW update? Pretty Please? Heck, I would be willing to pay an additional subscription fee for Honorbuddy 2 access for the next six months, since my accounts use store-bought products that only appear in Honorbuddy 2...

A lot of the issues you pointed out were issues before HB3 even came out, especially with the dungeons.

Giving some examples of the profiles not working is better than saying "many"...Examples

You should also keep in mind that at no time was quest bot ever meant to be ran AFK. There's been reports since day 1 of questing of strange stucks. If you are AFK'ing while running the bot, you are really doing it wrong, especially during questing.

I was using HB2 a lot and tried HB3 a few times: I always went back to HB2 as HB3 is buggy as hell when it comes to questing (maybe not in legion content). I was leveling 3-4 chars with HB2 (almost 100% AFK) and I am now stuck with all of them (char doesn't move, couldn't generate path, etc.).

Please keep HB2 alive until those bugs are solved.

the dungeons are working somewhat in hb2 but in hb3 they dont work at all, also generic questing botbase in hb3 is buggy and unfinished and many bugs dont exist in hb2 using the same botbase and profile.

for me i think hb3 is better but u have to fix a lot of bug by urself.I using my own private questing profile it work very well with hb3 and i feel like is much faster than hb2.

We haven't paid to get a car that runs wonderfully when it comes to upper speed ranges but works terribly when it comes to slow speed ranges.

HB2 works without any doubt almost flawlessly for questing 1-100 but now you cannot use it for this purpose.

I had a break and I wanted to level my chars up to 100 before I buy legion, but now? I scripted my plugin so it will correct these little issue HB2 had at times (so it runs almost 100 % AFK), HB3 is working less effectively than HB2 when it comes to leveling from 1-100.

Could (we) petition the Honorbuddy developers to set an end date for Honorbuddy 2 support to be December 31, 2016? That way, community developers could adapt their store products to work with Honorbuddy 3...If I gather forum user names for the petition, would I get banned from this forum? I really need to use Honorbuddy, since I am physically handicapped when I play WoW, and Honorbuddy allows me to enjoy the gaming experience by automating many of the mousing and keyboarding that I am unable to perform, myself. And, I really appreciate that this product exists and is supported by Honorbuddy developers. Thank you!

Great to hear, you got enough time to repair questing profiles and writing your custom ones. I don't and that's why I prefer having a working version back as long as the new one cannot compete with it. I know updating offsets is not a minute task but at the moment I absolutely don't enjoy botting at all.

You can petition them all you want, it doesn't mean they'll change their minds...This isn't the government, they run their business as they see fit.

All I see in this thread is a bunch of whining without anyone actually providing any evidence that things are not working the way that they should. I would dare say that the same people complaining about HB3 are doing something wrong on their end...Ie. trying to update HB2 to HB3 instead of doing a fresh install, clearing cache, etc. I'm also willing to bet that people aren't reporting their problems in the appropriate threads/sections. They are getting pissed about something and then expecting it to be fixed without the HB team even knowing there's a problem.

And what exactly am I looking for? Saying something isn't working and providing EVIDENCE are two different things...

And once again, THIS IS NOT THE APPROPRIATE THREAD/SECTION/FORUM TO REPORT ISSUES. Issues tied to a particular bot/CR/profile need to go into the appropriate section.
