I have been playing wow for about 5 years now, and like a lot of others the game is losing it's luster. I was previously a hardcore raider, PVPer, and altaholic (leveled 5 toons the hard way). So about 3 months ago I decided, "screw it I'm going to bot" hoping that I would either get banned instantly thus giving me an excuse to get more of a life, or that I would enjoy it.
My first experience was with Wow-Robot, and although this program is free (for 30 mins at a time) it seems kinda dumb at time, and the interface isn't very user friendly. The program itself seems to work decently well for gathering and grinding, but that is about the extent of it, it does those two things quite well.
I found HonorBuddy and I am amazed at the forum support although navigating this place is kinda tricky *hint
and the questing profiles available, the layout of the program itself is very intuitive and straightforward. The bot profiles with HB are very much less "clicky" than WR as well. I like that amount of custom classes available, and the Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal page where I can stop my bot if needed.
The only thing I am still learning is how to actually use custom profiles other than Singular, but that will come in time I'm sure. I've been using HB for less than one day and I'm already happier with spending $30USD for it than being annoyed with something that was free.
