I cannot post a log because it will not even get past the launcher to form a log. Tried using the Wizard, tried uninstalling, re installing fresh. Tried restarting computer. I don't get it. Virus scan comes up clean, even tried to roll back my computer to when HB was working, no dice.

This is the only View attachment Honorbuddy_.txt

Also when I skip trying to launch the Honorbuddy.Launcher.exe and go straight to the Honorbuddy.exe I keep getting an "Error trying to save the setting file: The file exists."I got this other log trying the work around way. View attachment Honorbuddy_.txt

Update: Trying to repair HB says "The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. THis may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2349.

- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip
run them as administrator.
after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

Hey Tony,

I do not see where those .net frameworks are in my programs, but I have deleted the ASP.NET MVC 4 and also the visual c++ 2010, and 2012 x86 redist, restarted my PC, used the wizard as admin, updated windows twice and it still didnt work. Here is my screen cap of where there is no microsoft.net framework to uninstall.

Update: I get this when trying to run repair - repair.webp error.webp

are you running both bot and game as admin?

Yes, like I said the bot worked fine like 2 days ago.

disable macaffee, and malware bites as they could be blocking honorbuddy's access to files.

as far as your honorbuddy install.
Download the latest version of honorbuddy.
http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy
Then do a clean install into a new folder. Do not reinstall over a previous installation or move items from the old installation into the new one.

but fix those programs first.

I will try that tonight and get back to you.

next time just report back if you still have issues.

Disabled McAfee, Malware bites is installed but not running at all. Reinstalled from the latest that you gave me onto my desktop instead of the old directory, same thing. Crashes right when I hit the launch button. My friend said that one of my errors said it isn't getting certificates correctly which could be from your side? Anything you need me to do to get this resolved I will do what I can. Here again I skip the launcher and go straight to the .exe I get the same thing as before "Error trying to save the settings file: The file exists..View attachment 7780 2015-03-14 23.20.txt

this has NOTHING to do with certificates.

after you disabled malware bites did you re-download? or did you use whatever you had saved?

Download the latest version of honorbuddy.

I uninstalled what I had, and downloaded from the link you gave me.

well the only other times people have fixed it, they've re-installed windows. if thats something you could do, id recommend it.

Is there nothing like event logs or anything I can show you that you can figure out what is wrong? I could do that, but that is a bit extreme considering this is a brand new computer. I have been trying to figure out the problem and reading every single post that was similar and trying the different options. Those logs I have uploaded mean nothing? There has to be something in there giving a clue right?

well its something on your machine thats blocking honorbuddy from being able to read and write files that it should have no problem accessing in the first place. so something is MAJORLY wrong as systems that dont have issues dont have that problem.

I will try a system restore to the 2nd of March...if that doesn't work, then I guess goodbye Honorbuddy, been a good long time.

i doubt thats going to do it. if you could completely and i mean completely remove malware bites and MacAfee, restart your machine, to make sure theres no parts of them still running and giving it another shot.

Well I noticed the problem after I downloaded DayZ Commander, which I would not think would screw up Honorbuddy, but that is when the problem happened.

Uninstalled the McAfee, did not change anything, do you think when I installed DayZ commander that would have anything to do with it? I also uninstalled that, still did not change anything.

pm me your Skype and we will teamviewer it

I already did as Code said and tried reinstalling windows, but for some reason it completely fucked up my system. Now Windows won't install correctly on my SSD drive, I keep getting an error and blue screen of death something about execute_noexecute_memory or something even after formatting the drives. Anyways I am taking it to a repair shop because my knowledge has its limits. Might just get Windows 7. Windows 8 is the bane of my existence.
