you need to load a profile.

I appreciate your effort, but I'm not sure if this is a troll. This is exactly my problem.
When I press load profile -> From File. I get now popout pathfinder where I can locate the profile.
All I get is a message saying "Loading Profile..." in the lower left corner of the buddy interface.

EDIT: I'm not sure what this problem is related to, when I reinstalled ARelog I couldn't get the window to navigate my wow.exe.
I was able to write the path manually, C:\Programfiles(x86)... and so on

the issue is your not loading one. after clicking "From File" it should bring up a file browser so you can browse and find the profile to load. but your not loading one. so when you press start theres no profile to load and it just sits there.

Yes exactly, but for some reason the browser window doesn't appear, might not be honorbuddy unfortunately :/

Problem solved now!
I was browsing through the forum for answers and found this reply by Tony:

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from https://www.thebuddyforum.com/BuddyWizard.exe
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

It sealed the deal for me. Awesome.
