hb with win 8

im running win8 release preview and considering going back to wow with hb this time just wondering if i can use hb with win 8

If you start it via HBRelog it should work.

At least it did a month ago.

But dont expect it to work, it isnt supported yet.

we only support RTM, not beta / customer preview windows

you could run HBRelog and use windows 8, but I don't know how to set it up (read the HBRelog thread for the how to - if it still works)

well this kind of sucks i realy dont want to buy the bot if it wont work on win 8 sorry if i sound alittle negative i have heard great things about hb but i purchased bw and its a p.o.s. i know its new but wow its new alright

Just get the one day key and try the thing with HBRelog, or just ask in the thread about it.

Or wait for the final release of Win 8 or... dunno.

There is enough you can do to enjoy HB. (It's worth it tbh.)

It *will* work when W8 is out for sale

atm W8 is a beta / customer preview - we have better things to be doing with our time than checking w8 everytime they fix something (which is often) for the 10 users that use W8 preview

i was realy just hoping to set it an forget it not have to worry if it will mess up while im working 12hr days and coming home to my wife an little girl with little play time i do get i wanted to get the most out of it i guess i will have to wait

Just use HBRelog to log into it, I believe it still works.

If you work 12 hours a day, why did you get a preview OS instead of a main W7 OS? Since W8 is bound to have bugs

i have win 7 i just like win 8 its different but if i change the os one more time she might kill me while i sleep

Just add a 2nd OS =P (dual OS on 1 system)

I dunno if you can do w/o reformatting, but I know I could do it w/o reformatting when I installed Linux as a 2nd OS

If you can't - get another SSD, install w7, and just restart and press... f10? f12? to select which disk to boot from
