 Hi, I have a problem with HB. HB will not open when I start the HB. It comes up run as administrator, I press "Yes" but after that nothing happens.

I'm having the same issue, just reformatted my computer a few days ago. And redownloaded all the .Net Frameworks up to 4.0 and still nothing... Processes shows that it is running, but the window will not open

are you sure you installed .net 3.5 sp1?
4.0, or 2.0 dont matter, what we care about is 3.5 sp1.
and have you restarted your computer since then? ether way do a restart and give it another shot.

I just uninstalled .net 4.0 and then tried to install 3.5 sp1. And got an error saying "An error has occured during setup. Installed files have been removed from your computer."
Also the log that I can open up shows this
--------------------------

Any ideas?

i didnt say uninstall 4, i just said 3.5 is one we care about. did you restart your machine, after installing one, and installing the other?

Okay well installed 3.5 sp1, restarted my machine. And still won't open the window. Process still shows it runs, but nothing appears on my screen

is there anything in the Logs Folder inside the honorbuddy folder? if so post it here as an attachment.

Completely uninstalled .net framework 3 sp1, and honor buddy. Restarted my computer installed them both again, restarted my computer, and still nothing is working. The process still shows it open, but the window doesn't pop up no matter how long I wait....

I don't get an error, just don't see anything. I click on the icon, nothing opens and no errors pop up. When I check processes through Task Manager, It shows honorbuddy running, but no window or error ever pops up...

uninstall ALL Your .NET Frameworks, delete HB and restart your computer... then install the link above a couple of posts (then restart your pc ) . THEN install .NET Framework 4.. (restart again)
re-install HB and all should work..

otherwise its not a problem with you're framework. however from the look of your log your missing a dependancy... (Something HB requires to run)
