Yes, some profiles might need some babysitting for now, but that's because of a huge patch a couple of months ago. I don't know if you remember.
The bot isn't the problem right now, it's the profiles.

I haven't heard about a profilemaker making a living of making profiles, so that must mean that it's in their sparetime.
So could you please dial your noobness back and relax?

Making profiles and looking for errors take time.

I bot with my dear HB and I watch him stand there as if he was afk and then comes a user of another bot (not gonna name the bot, wouldn't be right) and he takes my shit right there, in front of me and moves on. Naturally, my HB is still hanging there... I think I should wait next time and see how many loops that other bot is gonna make before my HB decides it's time to move on with the profile and actually go to the next hotspot.

So, sometime around 11AM UTC our main auth gateway decided to stop responding. For whatever reason, our alerts never went off to let me know it happened. I've restarted that one, and taken down the current trouble-maker.

At this point, I'm not sure what the cause was (there's absolutely nothing in our logs that points to any sort of issue with our gateway server), but I'll continue to monitor it. With the start of MoP (and a few of our other bots at the same time), the total traffic to our auth servers has almost doubled. Our servers are handling 10k+ requests per second on each of our main auth servers. Unfortunately, I think we're starting to hit the limits on available throughput. We've been working on a new auth system in the last few weeks that should hopefully be able to deal with the current traffic, and any future traffic increases, with far less resource usage (CPU/Memory/Bandwidth/etc). Unfortunately, that requires time, and testing.

Bear with us folks, our poor old auth system is starting to show it's age and limits. We're working as best we can to get things sorted out. We're no happier about the issues than you guys are.

Simple....he is full of shit and has ZERO credibility. There is no way it is possible. Just read the threads, add in your own experiences and just a tad of common sense and you know the answer. He couldn't go from 1-6 without a problem. I suspect he could get from 1-2 without a problem, but from 1-60 you know he is just a sheep in full HB cheerleader mode. While I believe the OP is out of line, Mufflon is worse.
